Welcome Bobcat to Nuevo León!

GP Construcción was present at the groundbreaking of the Doosan Bobcat project, a new plant located in Interpuerto, Salinas Victoria. This plant is the first of its kind in Nuevo Leon and will have more than 60,000 m² dedicated to the manufacture of compact loaders.

Doosan Bobcat: Leading Manufacturer 

Bobcat is an industry leader in the manufacture and distribution of compact equipment, industrial vehicles, grounds maintenance equipment and portable electric vehicles, and continues to expand with this new project. The plant will focus on the production of Bobcat M-Series compact loaders and is expected to create 600 to 800 new jobs in the region.

Scott Park, CEO and vice president of Doosan Bobcat, highlighted the importance of this new investment for the company, noting its positive impact on the local economy and industrial innovation. The event was also attended by the governor of the state, Samuel García Sepúlveda, who supported this initiative that will strengthen Nuevo León's industrial infrastructure.

Bobcat seeks LEED Silver certification 

The event highlighted that the plant located in the Interpuerto Monterrey Industrial Park will seek LEED Silver certification, an international recognition for sustainable buildings granted by the U.S. Green Building Council. This system evaluates and certifies buildings that meet strict sustainability, energy efficiency and environmental responsibility standards.

The pursuit of this certification reflects Doosan Bobcat and GP Construction's commitment to sustainable construction and energy efficiency, using state-of-the-art technology to ensure quality and precision in their processes.
