Top construction projects in 2024 that continue to make a difference

We closed 2024 with great success. This year we reaffirmed our position as a leader in the construction sector by working on emblematic industrial and infrastructure developments. We delivered high-impact projects that are transforming Nuevo León and strengthening our commitment to excellence.

These developments stand out not only for their magnitude, but also for the positive impact they have on the economy, employment, and quality of life of thousands of people in the region. The work of each project is a testament to our vision of building a better future.

1. Volvo plant in Ciénega de Flores

A 180,000 m² project that reflects our focus on sustainability and innovation, making it a milestone for the automotive industry in Nuevo León. This development is significant for Grupo GP, as it represents the first time that three of its companies -GP Construcción, GP Desarrollos and Brio Energía- have worked together to complete a project in its entirety.

2. Doosan Bobcat

With an area of 70,997^m2, this industrial building will drive the growth of a leading heavy machinery brand that will produce compact loaders for North America.

3. Polaris

A project of about 22,355 m², this industrial building seeks to expand its production lines of off-road vehicles. Being located in a strategic point, it contributes to the facilitation of export routes to various global points.

4. Brembo

The Brembo plant, built by GP Construcción and located in the industrial park of GP Escobedo, Nuevo León, decided to increase its production capacity through an expansion of 33,500 m², doubling its annual production of brakes for high-end vehicles.

The Brembo brand is dedicated to the design, development and manufacture of braking systems.

5. Whirlpool

The Whirlpool Expansion project consists of an expansion of its current plant located in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila. This expansion consists of 26,000 m² and is the only plant in Mexico where the brand's 'French Door' refrigerators are produced.

6. Dana

We continue working on the second phase of Dana's 22,000^m2 expansion at Pocket Park Escobedo. The project is currently under construction and the metal structure is being erected.

7. PepsiCo

A 48,076 m² project located in Celaya Guanajuato. This warehouse is designed for one of the country's leading brands in the food and beverage sector, which consolidates us as a reference in industrial plants in the food industry.

*During the elaboration of this project we are using the latest technologies in the construction industry.*

8. Suburban train Line 6

This project is the first monorail in Mexico, marking a significant advance towards sustainable urban mobility in Nuevo León.

*The commuter train improves the viability and connectivity of the Monterrey metropolitan area.*

9. Xinquan

We built the industrial plant for the Chinese company dedicated to the development and manufacture of interior auto parts in Aguascalientes, and we are currently working on its 42,440^m2 expansion.

*The warehouse is located in the San Francisco IV Industrial Park, Aguascalientes.*

With each achievement this year, we are inspired to keep building with passion, commitment and a constant focus on innovation. 2024 leaves us with great learnings and the motivation to face new challenges.
