GP Recycling Zone: Committed to the environment

At GP Construcción, we are committed to sustainability and environmental care. Therefore, we are proud to announce that our teams from the LEGO Operaciones Mexico, Polaris, Exp. Xinquan, MT04 Airport, Tren Suburbano Monterrey and Whirlpool projects supported our GP Recycling Zone initiative in schools. Learn more about the activity and its scope. 

What is the GP Recycling Zone initiative?

This initiative aims to visit schools near each of our sites to teach children in a fun and educational way to differentiate between organic and inorganic waste and to separate plastics and cardboard. 

Our purpose is to instill in future generations the importance of the recycling process and the sustainability of materials for the care of the planet from an early age. By carrying out this action we share with the children the benefits of recycling:

✔️ Decrease in the need to extract raw materials

✔️ Energy saving

✔️ Preservation of natural resources 

✔️ Reduction of air, water and soil pollution

✔️ Reduction in greenhouse gas emissions
