Connection for the Monterrey Metropolitan Area

The Monterrey Suburban Train is a rail transportation project with 62 km of track that will connect the Mariano Escobedo Airport with the Municipality of García. It will pass through the municipalities of Santa Catarina, San Pedro Garza García, Monterrey, San Nicolás de los Garza, Apodaca and Pesquería.

The project seeks to relieve train traffic, benefiting around 850,000 potential users and approximately 11 million annual passengers that use the airport. In addition, a reduction of up to 81 million annual trips made by other means is expected, according to data from FIDEPROES, Nuevo León.

This project will bring with it the longest monorail in the entire continent, offering a vital solution to alleviate traffic in our city.
